It was a wonderful experience of visiting Isha Foundation at Bangalore. Isha Foundation is a spiritual center located in Chickballapur District of Karnataka, which is just 45 kms from Bangalore International Airport. It is perched in a serene place surrounded by hills.
Isha Foundaton is a spiritual place (Ashram) founded and headed by Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev.
The main attraction of this place is the gigantic statue of Adiyogi, the first yogi. The statue is a bust size image which is black in colour, with a height of 112 feet, and a rudraksham ornament around his neck and half moon on the head.
From the main, there is aa distance of 2 ms to the statue. Now te roads are very good and easily we can travel inside. It is a marvelos view of the statue in a serene atmosphrere whic is enriched by cool breeze travelled from the surrounding mountains.
As you enter first you will be seeing a Naga Mantapa with a height of 10 feet. Another attraction is Yogeswara Linga below the statue.
The entry is free. There is enough parking space for the vehicles. There are two restaurants in this area. When we visited the second one was almost ready to start.
It is open from 6 to 8 p.m.
There is laser show of about 15 minutes in the evenings from 7 to 7.15 p.m.
