Hey little friends, have you ever heard of a story on Matador? Nò????
Well, here is one for you. The story of an intelligent matador. Once there was a matador in a small town. It was driven by a man to deliver water cans to the houses of a nearby city.
There was a forest on its way to reach the city. One day the matador was moving through that forest, carrying water cans. Suddenly it met with a herd of elephants. The driver who was the owner of it too, got terribly frightened. "Oh God! Please save me from these horrible animals. All my bones will be broken if they attack me." He was shivering.
"Oh driver uncle!" said the matador. "Please don't get nervous. Just sit steadily and face the situation."
Driver already had stopped the matador. He was stammering...."I.....I ...c.....c....cant....f....f....fface them."
"Well, then let me handle them." The matador was cool.
Soon elephants reached them and blocked their way. The biggest one came close to the matador and waved his trunk.
"What happened my dear friend? Why are you blocking my way?" Asked the matador sweetly.
"We want water can from you," replied the leader elephant briefly.
"Water can!" The matador was surprised. "You have plenty water sources in the forest. Why do you need water can from me?"
"No, we don't have. All the water had dried up due to scorching heat of the summer." Leader waved his trunk again and said, "We are dying in thirst but there is not enough water for us in this forest. Many animals have already left this forest and many are dying".
After hearing the story, the matador said, "So sad! Well, you cantake one or two cans from me."
It got a scold immediately from its driver. " You fool, giving cans to elephants! What will we deliver in city?"
"Oh uncle, if we refuse to give them water cans they will kill you and destroy me too. Won't it be wise to give them one or two?
"That's true. That is the only way we can get rid of these animals," agreed the driver.
Then the leader elephant came forward and took out two cans from the matador.
The elephants were delighted. Soon the road was cleared.
"Thank you matador. Your wise decision has saved both of us," said the driver and started the matador.
After delivering the cans the matador was coming back. They found the elephants had left the empty cans at the same spot where they met the matador.
The driver took the empty cans and left the forest with his intelligent matador.
