The term "technology" describes the useful use of scientific knowledge for a specific goal. The utility of products and services is increased by technology. Its goal is to add value. Both material and non-material (virtual) technology exists.

From simple to complicated, technology comprises tools, machinery, instruments, and other gadgets that improve human life. It also contains the aptitude and abilities needed to put the knowledge into practice. One of the most useful tools we have at our disposal on a daily basis is technology. With a computer, tablet, or smartphone, you can do almost anything. The uses of technology are countless, ranging from ordering takeaway to paying your bills and checking what time a movie starts. Not only are they limitless, but they also keep becoming better. They are continuously being improved to make our daily tasks easier. We no longer live in a world where technology exists; instead, technology now exists in our world. According to a research, families with children between the ages of four and fourteen typically own eleven consumer electronics items.

Benefits: The effects of technology on the food industry, consumption, industry, business, comfort, resource utilisation, travel, education, healthcare, architecture, design, arts, culture, and heritage are all readily apparent. It facilitates our social interactions and keeps us in touch with people. It improves information accessibility, expands knowledge, adds enjoyment to learning, and develops transferable skills.

Cons: On the other hand, it has led to increased pollution, resource depletion, stress, social alienation, health problems, & psychological disorders.

Consequences: On the other hand, it has led to increased pollution, resource depletion, stress, social alienation, health problems, mental illnesses, materialism, excessive reliance, time wastage, health, information overload, inappropriate information, disconnected youth, cyberbullying, cyberstalking, and cybercrime. For individuals of all ages, it is a significant distraction that contributes to "dumbing down" and an unhealthy reliance on technology.
