DEATHLESS DEATH
by Yoshita Misra
(Ajmer, Rajastan, India)
A man once offered deathless death,
Sadly, he turned into a corpse after his last breath.
He demanded a sacrifice,
And realized he was the one, who paid the price.
Humanity will finally cease one day,
Gradually the world is drifting away.
Raw spirits shall live forever,
Whosoever said it, must be clever.
Only death defines the concept of human life,
Deathless death is just a mythical knife.
Mortal corrupts themselves with power,
But absolute power will devour.
The false notion of immortality should end,
Humanity shall give up the errands and let death descend.
