The Island

Standing alone in the vast sea
With water all around
Coconut trees on it’s hub
There lies a desolated island

With seagulls on it’s shores
Fighting for their food
Caring for their little ones
Who are playing near the shores

The huge mountains at the back
With steep and deep cliffs
roofed by the mighty forest
With Lilikoi on it’s top

The mighty sand covering it beaches
With shells and crabs lying on it
With signs of humanity
Washed by the sturdy waves
Which were coming more and more.
