Slices of Lemon...

The missing slices of lemon...Since I started my lemon facial regimen, I would slice a whole lemon every night and dab it on my skin before going to bed. Several slices needed to use on different parts of my skin; e.g. one slice for my left cheek and another slice for my right cheek, chin, neck, forehead and so forth. I do not throw them right away instead I just put them in a white ramekin on top of the kitchen counter to be used again in the morning. But lately I've noticed that they've been missing quite often... well, I didn't bother to ask because I just presumed that it was thrown away. No big deal and no need to fuss about it, I don't want to get upset or ruin my indelible sense of peace and composure that I have worked so very hard to attain at this stage. I must always have a clean and clear mind, no room for negativity and must shy away from any stressful stimuli. I earnestly believe that whatever we cultivate within our being will directly and indirectly shows itself outward through physical manifestations. It may cause you to think deeply towards this ideology and make your own conjecture that I do make a point or smile derisively or raise one eyebrow murmuring something to yourself. I will continue to believe and practice this idea no matter what others may think.
Being a woman, it's in her nature to be vain up to whatever level she wanted to as long as it does not become an obsessive compulsive behavior that will cause harm to herself or the people around her. It should not interfere with her life, ADL's
activities of daily living and personal relationships and so forth. If these maybe the case then I would insist that she should ask for professional help, see the man who owns the most comfortable couch in the medical fields whom they called the mind specialist. Anyone can become obsessive with something, a type of obsession that were acquired or influenced. It's part of our lives and learned behavior, of how we cope up with and I guess what we have witnessed while growing up and through discovering life as we traverse this complex world.
Now, let's go back to the case of the missing slices of lemon...
One morning I woke up a bit early than usual, I saw my husband through the glass sliding door, sitting comfortably outside our deck. Sipping an ice cold beverage from a tall glass and beside him a pitcher half-filled with dark amber liquid with lemon slices floating within. Now I know where my lemon slices ended up, it was not thrown or wasted at all as I thought, but put into good use! Now I know why my husband understands me so well, it's because part of me lives in him literally and no wonder he's so besotted with me! :))
P.S. Yes, I have also heard about a potent potion to make your partner besotted with you, more potent than lemon slices... But that's another subject to discuss...
