As I stood under the blue sky with a lifeless smile,
I turned behind, to find my colorful past
fade away far away from me...
What I saw was also the last glimpse of you
yes,the ultimate one.
The time I realised what had happened, you were gone...
Leaving behind nothing but your footprints.
I walked tracing your footprints, but in vain
They were already washed away by the monsoons!

I had locked you in my soul,
fooling myself of the obvious truth
Having realised your essence in my life
I am in need of you.
With you beside me,I have touched the skies,
but today I am buried in the regrets of losing you;

I am yet here in light and dark,
holding onto an unhappy smile as my only hope;
Things have changed and I have too,
But the pain of yours still wanders in my heart.

I want you back...no I NEED YOU................

Hence under the blue sky with a shameful face
I stand on my wet knees,wearing a lifeless smile,
will you my dear innocence please come back?
WILL YOU?????
may be not..........
