Little Wonders for a Mother

Screeching sounds of toys, which is rubbed towards the walls, floor and bed can be heard everywhere. Little baby "Niya" who is 7 months old, fair in color, with dark black eyes, curly hairs and pink lips. Keeps improving her skill of learning new things with her toys. This is the usual vision in Niya's house every day.

She wakes up early in the morning and accompanies her mom towards the hall. As they get down the stairs towards the hall, the little one squeaks to show her happiness. Because she could see her Grandparents sitting and speaking to each other. Niya's grandfather who is a government employee, keeps referring to lot of books related to his work during the morning hours. And grandmother is a sweet lady who assumes herself as younger than Little Niya, She is actually a best friend of Little Niya as well.

Little Niya's Mom is an IT professional who works all day and reaches home at night. In the meantime grandmother is the one who takes care of little Niya.. However The young mom's first work in the morning ever day is to bring the baby down to hall, and first tell her baby to wish her grandparents -" Good Morning". Then prepares some dosas or chapatis(Food) for her little one and the family, feeds her baby. Then let the baby play on the floor.

Baby Niya is not that fast in crawling. She hardly makes a step or two ahead. So her mom and grandparents are bit relaxed. Because they can place her on the baby mat giving her some

toys to play.

One day, it so happened that when little Niya's mom came back from her office and saw her Mom had kept the baby in her room who was playing with toys. Little Niya's mom told her - "hello Niyu,Mama will come back soon... " and went to the wash room kept the doors open of the wash room, as to keep an eye on the baby meanwhile. Till then the young Mom saw the baby towards the end of the room, screeching some toy. Now the Mom started to wash her face and hands.

All of sudden she heard a voice- "Ma,Ma..Ma..", then a squeak by the baby, as she was happy that She had reached her mom and slowly started to stand up on her feet. The mom was so happy to see the little one- "crawl so fast towards her listening her voice, try to stand on her feet and then call her Ma.." So many surprises at once for a mother to handle.

The mom carried the little one and ran towards her parents narrated them the happenings. Even they were happy. The grand mother told the little one- "Oh, So little Niya will be accompanying me for the evening walk very soon.." And her Grand Father jumped to say -"And will accompany me standing in front of my Activa to my office". And little Niya smiled to them as though acknowledging them..

We all know a Mother's life or happiness is nourished by the little things of her children. And this was written clearly on the Niya's Mother's face also.
