I am a river I keep flowing
The Wind above keeps blowing
I roar wild I keep slowing
I am a river I keep flowing
Banks and Cities are left behind
Ice floats with me every stone I grind
I travel across till the sea I find
Banks and cities are left behind
Flowers bloom autumns pass
Some with trees some lands with grass
Shines above the sun of brass
Flowers bloom autumns pass
Don't make me stop or I stink
I am not to be tamed if you think
This moment here, gone in a blink
Don't make me stop or I stink
I am kind I will heal
I am wild I will kill
Some days I would seem still
I am kind I will heal
And here comes the sea one day
It stretches its hand and takes me away
I smile but nothing I say
And here comes the sea one day
And I succumb to the ocean
We embrace each other under the sun
We look alike we look one
As I succumb to the ocean
I am a river I keep flowing
The Wind above keeps blowing
I roar wild I keep slowing
I am a river I keep flowing.
