Oh Captain, my captain, captain of the house
You guarded this mansion without any grouse
Your majestic appearance described espouse
No one could hoodwink though you douse
From infancy to adulthood you grew gracefully
Care and affection were your traits all through
Inhabitants bestowed love and affection peacefully
Fondled and cuddled to the tantrums you threw
Day started before dawn for relieving the loaded tummy
Sun rays and sunny weather allergic though not a dummy
Played with some street dogs sharing also yelling at some
But harmed none, roared and bewildered, how awesome
The imprints strange chestnut brown complexion so rare
Huge doggy house in the habitation to scare
The bondage accompanied by the roaring bark resonating
And the pervading silence derailing life is demonstrating.
