Raja, Subhash and Dinu are sure in a joyous thrall
As the crowd gathered thick at the eve of festival
Three of them have bunch of balloons in their hands fluttering
Their eyes were in search of the little ones in the gathering
The little children giggled and laughed flying the balloons in air
Raja, Subhash and Dinu got ten rupees each for a pair
Today they managed to sell all the balloons in their hand
Off they ran to get some more to their tiny shed by the stand.
Mother will be happy today while cooking eggs with onion ginger
Today they will eat enough to quench their daily hunger
Their father is a rickshaw puller and mother works as a maid
Raja, Subhash and Dinu sell balloons to give them some aid.
Raja wants to play football and dream of medals he could win
But how could he gain his might with so scanty food in his teens
Subhash loves movies and could mimic all the stalwarts
But how could he perform wearing fade and torn shirts
Dinu is deaf and dumb by birth but could learn the tables by heart
But how could he read all books in the street lamps by the mart
Will their days pass like this with destiny not so high
Today they will fly three balloons filled with their wish dreams in the sky.
