About the winner: Former Associate Professor of English at University of Delhi, Dr. Subhash Candra has published about thirty short stories in Indian and foreign journals and has also published four critical books. He is on the International Advisory Board of the refereed E critical journal 'Intersections: Gender and Sexuality in Asia and the Pacific' published from Australian National University, Canberra.
